Stewart Systems WOOD FINISHING PRODUCTS
WOOD
STAIN
WOOD SEALER
ONE PART POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Stewart Aircraft Finishing Systems Wood Stain is a water based stain developed to meet the
wood industrys new environmental standards. Stewart Systems WOOD STAIN is a low VOC product that
offers the advantages of a deep penetrating pigment and low grain raising properties. The
stain was developed to act as a stain and primary sealer. The resins help the product to
dry quickly (eliminating excessive grain raise) and seal the wood to help repel water. The
stain is carried in a special resin, which does not allow the pigment to chalk off like
most stains. After staining, the stain area should be coated with a sanding sealer or top
coated with Stewart Systems One Part Polyurethane. Unlike most stains on the market, Stewart Systems WOOD STAIN
can be top-coated with a water base or solvent base coating
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES
Stewart Systems WOOD STAIN is a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), high performance production
coating. It is considered non-hazardous by EPA definitions and does not contain lead or
chromates. The solid and semi-solid sludge produced in spraying and clean up can be
flocculated; dried and sent to a "Class B" landfill. Check with your local and
state regulations for proper handling.

Stewart Systems SANDING SEALER
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Stewart Aircraft Finishing Systems SANDING SEALER is a water based wood sealer used to
fill the grain. This product is a high performance aliphatic polyurethane with enough
solids to produce a high build coating, which can be sanded easily. Polyurethane, by
itself, is too hard to sand without leaving scratches. Aircraft Finishing Systems SANDING
SEALER should be applied only on bare, clean wood or over Aircraft Finishing Systems
water base stain. Do not apply over solvent or oil base stains. When the sanding sealer has
dried and is sanded, you can apply Aircraft Finishing Systems One Part Polyurethane as a
high gloss or satin finish. The finished product will give a solvent resistant flexible
finish with a very high DOI (Depth of Image).

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
STEWART AIRCRAFT FINISHING SYSTEMS ONE-PART POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT is a waterborne
polyurethane. When the customer receives Stewart Systems ONE-PART POLYURETHANE, it is already formed
in the container, where as in the solvent base type, the polyurethane is formed on the
substrate. Therefore, once the paint is applied on the substrate, the film properties of
Stewart Systems ONE-PART POLYURETHANE rival that of other two component catalyzed systems. Stewart Systems
ONE-PART POLYURETHANE offers outstanding coverage, excellent durability, and ease of
application as well as being a low VOC and EPA compliant coating.
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES
Stewart Systems ONE-PART POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT is non-hazardous by EPA definitions. It does not
contain lead or chromates. The solid and semi-solid sludge produced in spraying and clean
up can be flocculated; dried and sent to a "Class B" landfill. Check with your
local and state regulations for proper handling.
